Deepika to get into a bikini
They are all set to showcase their bodies in Sajid Khan’s film “Houseful"
Earlier only Lara and Jiah were to wear bikinis but Sajid suddenly changed his mind and decided to even have Deepika sporting a one.
He approached Deepika and she agreed to do it for a song sequence that has been shot on a beach in Italy.
This is not the first time that Deepika will be seen in a bikini. During her modelling days she has posed in bikinis.
Director sending Akshay, Anushka on a dinner date
Nikhil Advani says Twinkle is welcome
Director Nikhil Advani does not want the lead pair of his upcoming film "Patiala House” to face any sort of awkwardness with each other.
According to sources, Nikhil is setting a dinner date between Akshay Kumar and Anusha Sharma at a leading five-star hotel in Mumbai.
He wants to ensure that they spend enough time in each other’s company before they start shooting for the film. Since this is the first time that the pair will star opposite each other, Nikhil is not taking any chances.
Nikhil confirmed the news and said he is planning to send the two out for dinner. All the arrangements will be made by him. Also Akshay’s wife Twinkle would be welcome if she wishes to join them. Nikhil believes Twinkle’s presence will make Anushka more comfortable.
After serious roles, Arjun happy to show his funny side
After playing a crooked film producer in "Om Shanti "Om", a brooding failed musician in "Rock On!" and a lame reluctant gangster in "Don", Arjun Rampal thinks it's high time he shed his serious image and show his funny side in multi-starrer "Housefull".
"This is why I am mixing it all up now. I guess these movies were a great platform for me to showcase my acting talent. Having established that, I deserve to let my hair down now. Due to this I picked a film like 'Housefull'," Arjun said.
"It was good fun to be a part of this riotous outing since it's a genre that I haven't ever ventured into. I wanted to do a lighter film after all the aforementioned films and I am glad I did 'Housefull' even though my character is still quite intense," he added.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sajid Khan, the film also stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Jiah Khan. Along with the mammoth star cast of the film, Arjun had a blast shooting for "Housefull" all over Europe through the months of July and August.
"We all had a lot of fun since the overall atmosphere was so great. Both Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala made sure that our entire stay was so comfortable and happy. I could feel an overall positive energy that was prevalent all these days.
"It was so important actually to get the right camaraderie since the film is about so many characters all thrown together in tricky comical situations," said Arjun, who is back in town after shooting for "Housefull", which is almost complete.
The actor has seen a huge upswing in his career over the last few years with movies like "Rock On" (2008), "Om Shanti Om" (2007) and "Don - The Chase Begins Again" (2006) bringing him critical as well as commercial success. And not to forget his performance in 2008 film "The Last Lear".
Even though his recent release "Fox" has come and gone, Arjun has already moved on and is now looking at his future projects. With movies like Prakash Jha's "Rajneeti" and Karan Johar's Hindi remake of "Stepmom" under his belt, Arjun is also happy to finally have a sense of belonging in the Hindi film industry.
"I have been around since 2001 when I had three releases 'Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat', 'Deewanapan and 'Moksha: Salvation', all arriving back to back. After almost a decade in the industry, I can now proudly say that the industry has embraced me," the supermodel-turned actor said.
A young man from Delhi who has managed to find a slot for himself all on his own, he remembers the times when he was a complete outsider.
Akshay Kumar sprints in the streets of London
Akshay admits, "Yes, Jennifer challenged me to run the rest of the way home and see if we could beat the car! Then my driver laid a bet saying that they would reach the hotel before them, so the bet was on.
She and I started running at 10.30 at night and passed all the other cars with my co-stars (Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal and Lara Dutta), the producer (Sajid Nadiadwala) and director (Sajid Khan) sitting in them."
Since there are several Hindi movie buffs in London - Indians, Arabs and Asians - and he was soon recognised and had people running after him. He laughs, "Guys were running after me trying to figure out if it was really me.
I heard them shout out aloud, 'Is he Akshay Kumar?' By the time I reached my hotel it was almost like half an Indian army was running behind me. I was excited, thrilled and exhausted too by the time I reached the hotel!"
Akshay cycled many times while in London. "I bought a couple of mountain bikes and cycled back from the set to my hotel through the middle of London. While some people stopped to take pictures. I would cycle through Hyde Park everyday.
It was great fun! I felt great, with my lungs burning and legs pumping but I'm not alone - there are hundreds of people trying to become fit. If you want to be fit, I recommend buying a bicycle, riding around, forgetting about your stresses and just breathing in the air that surrounds you."
Akshay takes good care of Deepika!

He not only made sure Deepika was looked after, but also persuaded her to stay away from shooting.
While Deepika was resting, alternative scenes that didn't require her were shot.
"I'm recovering. I was bedridden for three days. And yes, I did return to the set on Saturday. I had to shoot. But I'm not sure whether it was the wisest of decisions, considering it was malaria," Deepika told IANS from London.
Akshay and Deepika earlier teamed up for "Chandni Chowk To China", which turned out to be a box office dud. But the film's failure hasn't affected their friendship.
"I'm lucky to be surrounded by gallant men. Whether it's my dad, Ranbir (Kapoor), Akshay, Shah Rukh Khan or any of my co-stars, I haven't so far encountered any ill-behaved men," said Deepika whose next release is "Love Aaj Kal".
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, "Love Aaj Kal" hits the screens Friday. And Saif Ali Khan, who plays Deepika's cynical love interest in the romantic saga, also gets high marks from Deepika, though she admits they aren't close friends.
In the movie, Saif plays a guy who doesn't believe in romantic love whereas Deepika is a die-hard romantic both in the film and in real life.
"He (Saif) also believes in love and realises it when he can't do without the girl. So I guess there's a romantic in all of us. It just needs to be tapped. But you need to experience that journey from disbelief to love, like I have in real life.
"So many times I advice people on their love life. I can always tell the difference between those who understand and don't understand the value of true love," she said.
