Salman Khan is his good friend, so when Karan Johar celebrated his 37th birthday at Hotel Four Seasons in Mumbai on May 25, Sallu’s absence was too glaring to go unnoticed.A couple of other A-listers, such as Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Kajol and John Abraham, were missing too, but then they were either sick or away from Mumbai. But neither was the case with Salman.
In fact, Salman’s brothers Sohail and Arbaaz accompanied by their wives were present at the party but Sallu was no where to be seen.
There are rumours that Katrina was also invited but she could not make it as she had just landed from South Africa.
The real reason for Sallu’s absence is unknown. Was it because of his break up with Katrina (he probably thought she would turn up for the party and did not want any interaction with her) or SRK (because of their on going fight) or did Karan actually not invite Salman?
